The logic behind Coexist was to create a space that incorporated two different users. Each with a private space sharing only the essentials such as living, dinning, kitchen, and laundry. One of the challenges in this project was to create separate spaces for the users. Spatial distriburion was a key factor in order to achieve this.
The layout is composed by 4 identical spaces, each separated by two service areas (vertical distribution). The project has two separate sets of stairs, for each user, to further emphasize the privacy between them. Surrounded by both, a contemplative garden and a social garden, the house invites you to explore each space.
